Small batch, hand dyed, thread using Scabious black knight flowers harvested from the garden here.
Scabious black knight is a modern dye plant and like all blues and purples (bar indigo) it is not completely colourfast.
Over time the shade may change and become greyer.
Naturally dyed colours last longer if they are kept out of direct sunlight.
Hand wash in cool water with neutral detergent.
3g wool/silk thread on a wooden spool.
Packaged in a labelled glassine envelope.
